Second Win in Four Months Since GS Caltex Maekyung Open
Tied for Most Wins, Ranks Third in Genesis Points and Prize Money

Mundo Yeop has claimed victory at the KPGA Founders Cup.
On September 7, at Golfzon County Yeongam 45 (par 72, 7,407 yards) in Yeongam County, South Jeolla Province, Mundo Yeop shot an impressive 8-under-par 64 in the 4th round of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour KPGA Founders Cup (total prize money: 700 million won), securing a dominant win by four strokes with a total score of 26-under-par 262. This marks his second win of the season and fifth career victory, coming four months after his triumph at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open in May. He received a winner's prize of 140 million won.

Mundo Yeop is the second player to achieve two wins on the KPGA Tour this season, following Ok Taehun. He is now tied for the most wins this season and has climbed to third place (3,500.85 points) in the Genesis Points ranking, entering the race for individual titles. He also ranks third in both the prize money standings (551.81 million won) and average strokes (69.675).
Starting the day with a two-stroke lead, Mundo Yeop collected nine birdies (with one bogey). He birdied the 1st hole (par 4), then made four consecutive birdies from the 3rd to the 6th holes, and added another birdie at the 8th hole (par 5), reducing his score by an impressive six shots over the first eight holes. His only blemish came at the 11th hole (par 4), where his second shot landed in the rough, resulting in a bogey. He then distanced himself from his competitors with three more birdies at the 12th, 14th, and 16th holes.
Kim Chanwoo surged into second place (22-under-par 266) with a strong finish, reducing his score by eight strokes in the final round. Choi Jinho, Yeom Seohyun, and Jeon Sunghyun shared third place (19-under-par 269), while defending champion Ko Guntaek finished tied for sixth (18-under-par 270). Sadom Kaewkanjana of Thailand, the winner of the Kolon Korea Open, climbed to a tie for 20th place (15-under-par 273).
