The Largest Group Event at Magok LG Science Park
Five Main Programs Including Tech Fair, AX Fair, and Super Start Day
A Platform for Communication Among Employees, Startups, and Local Residents
'Spark 2025', LG Group's largest science and culture convergence event, will be held at LG Science Park in Magok-dong, Seoul, for three weeks from September 8 to September 26. LG is hosting this event at the group's research and development (R&D) hub, operating it as the largest annual event that welcomes not only employees but also domestic and international partners, startups, local residents, and small business owners.
The event consists of five main programs. In the first week, the 'LG Tech Fair' (September 8-9), which showcases new technologies from group affiliates, and the 'LG AX Fair' (September 11-12), which reveals achievements in artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, will take place. In the second week, the 'LG Super Start Day' (September 17-18), which highlights promising startups and collaboration outcomes, is scheduled. In the third week, the 'LG Software Developer Conference' (September 23-25) and 'Culture Week' (September 24-26), which brings together employees, their families, and local residents, will be held.
Since 2023, LG has been hosting the 'Spark' event annually by integrating programs that encompass science, culture, and the arts. Last year, 55,000 people participated in the event.
Established in 2018, LG Science Park is the largest convergence research complex operated by a single company in Seoul. LG Electronics recently added four new research buildings, completing all 26 buildings as originally planned. The site is home to research organizations from LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Innotek, LG Chem, LG Energy Solution, LG Household & Health Care, LG Uplus, as well as partner companies and startup personnel, totaling approximately 25,000 people working there.
