"Ttaenggyeoyo" is a delivery app developed and operated by Shinhan Bank. It aims to increase sales and profits for small business owners by eliminating entry fees and advertising charges. The platform also operates with a commission fee of just 2%, which is significantly lower than the market average.

Since signing a business agreement in September last year with Shinhan Bank and local small business organizations to promote the use of Ttaenggyeoyo, Chuncheon City has achieved remarkable results across all key indicators.

The number of affiliated stores increased 2.6 times, from 726 to 1,896. The number of subscribers expanded 3.3 times, from 14,171 to 46,630. Monthly sales soared from 38 million won to 1.036 billion won, a 27-fold (2,617%) increase.

In particular, the amount of payments made using local currency surged 46 times, from 5,659,000 won to 262,903,000 won. This demonstrates that Ttaenggyeoyo is playing a key role in creating a virtuous cycle in the local economy, going beyond being a simple delivery platform.

To further promote the use of Ttaenggyeoyo, Chuncheon City has continuously provided citizen-focused benefits. A 3,000 won free delivery coupon is always available for orders over 15,000 won, and monthly promotional coupons are also distributed. In addition, in connection with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ public delivery app consumption coupon program, an additional 10,000 won coupon is provided for users who place at least two orders of 20,000 won or more.

On September 5, Chuncheon City shared its achievements and know-how in operating Ttaenggyeoyo at the "Ttaenggyeoyo Win-Win Day" held at Shinhan Bank’s headquarters in Seoul.

This event was organized to analyze the 2025 performance of Shinhan Bank’s public delivery platform Ttaenggyeoyo and to share plans for 2026. Among the 42 local governments with agreements nationwide, Chuncheon City was selected as an exemplary local government along with Seoul and Wonju.

Going forward, the city plans to expand citizen benefits by strengthening campaigns to recruit affiliated stores, providing app usage training, holding discount events in connection with local festivals, and enhancing online promotions targeting Millennials & Gen Z.

Kyung Changhyun, Director of Economic Policy at Chuncheon City, said, "These achievements are the result of support from Shinhan Bank and the government, as well as the active participation of small business owners and citizens. We will continue to develop this platform into one that revitalizes the local economy and supports small businesses through sustainable operation."
