Recruitment for Aspiring Entrepreneurs and Startups Under Seven Years
Innovative Ideas Sought for 2025 Donghae City Startup Incubation Center

Donghae City in Gangwon Province is recruiting '2025 Donghae City Startup Incubation Center Resident Companies,' targeting aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative and outstanding ideas, as well as entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than seven years. This recruitment aims to support promising local startups so they can grow stably and to contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
Eligible applicants include aspiring entrepreneurs who can start a business within three months and have excellent ideas, as well as entrepreneurs whose businesses have not exceeded seven years since their start date as of the announcement date. In particular, companies run by people with disabilities, women-owned businesses, companies with awards in management innovation, technology development, or startup ventures, and those that have completed entrepreneurship education will receive additional points in the evaluation.
A total of four spaces are available: two in the production building (Room 310/40.5㎡, Room 315/208.8㎡) and two in the research building (Room 9109/91.4㎡, Room 9110/57.96㎡). Resident companies must pay a guarantee insurance equivalent to three months of incubation room usage as a deposit, and the monthly incubation fee is 7,500 won per 3.3㎡.
Applications will be accepted until the 19th, after which the final resident companies will be selected through an in-person evaluation by the operations committee. The evaluation criteria comprehensively review the entrepreneur's capabilities and technological skills, the appropriateness of the business plan, entrepreneurial commitment, and market scalability, with additional points given for other factors. Companies that score an average of 70 points or higher will be approved for residency, and the results will be individually notified.
Lim Seongbin, Director of Economic Affairs, stated, "We will spare no effort in providing systematic support so that promising startups can grow stably," and added, "We hope for the active interest and participation of companies with innovative ideas and passion that can contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
