The Jindo Office of the Jeonnam Branch of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service and Jindo County in Jeonnam Province are continuously promoting the "Direct Payment 100 Campaign," a public-private partnership initiative aimed at stabilizing farm management and preserving agriculture and rural communities.

The Basic Public Interest Direct Payment System is a program that provides direct payments to enhance the public value of agriculture and rural areas and to stabilize farmers' incomes. To receive 100% of the direct payment, all 16 compliance requirements stipulated by law must be fulfilled.

The "Direct Payment 100 Campaign" is an initiative designed to encourage farmers to fully comply with all 16 requirements so that they can receive the entire direct payment without any deductions. The Jindo Agricultural Administration Office launched the campaign during the New Year Farmers' Education in February this year, and since July, has been conducting both compliance inspections and promotional activities targeting farmers who have applied for direct payments.

In particular, the Jindo Agricultural Administration Office plans to focus on verifying three key compliance requirements by the 30th of this month: maintaining the shape and function of farmland, proper disposal of agricultural waste, and keeping farming records.

Yang Sungwook, head of the Jeonnam Branch of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service, stated, "The purpose of compliance inspections is not to impose penalties, but to help farmers adhere to the requirements so they can receive the full direct payment," adding, "We will do our utmost in promotion and education to ensure that no disadvantages occur."
