It was held under the slogan, "A Gender-Equal Society Where Everyone is Respected, a Happier Korea for All."

During the first part of the ceremony, awards were presented to individuals and outstanding organizations who contributed to the spread of gender equality culture, as well as to model couples and exemplary volunteers. The second part featured sports activities and a singing contest, creating a festive atmosphere where residents could enjoy and bond together.

Various side events were also held, receiving a positive response from residents. The Gijang Women's New Employment Center provided job information through its "Mobile Job Counseling Booth," while the Gijang County Volunteer Center attracted attention with its "Carbon Neutral Sock Craft Program."

In addition, several campaigns were held: a sexual and domestic violence prevention campaign by the Gijang Open Counseling Center’s Integrated Sexual and Domestic Violence Counseling Center; a campaign to prevent solitary deaths by the Gijang County Single-Person Household Task Force; and a low birthrate countermeasure and childbirth encouragement campaign by the Gijang County Women's Association Council. These initiatives provided an opportunity to share the county’s core policies on gender equality, family-friendliness, and childbirth encouragement with residents.

Residents actively participated not only in the ceremony but also in the sports festival and experience booths, strengthening the bonds within the local community.

Governor Jung Jongbok stated, "Gender equality is not an issue for a specific gender, but a shared value that all county residents must create together," adding, "We will promote gender equality and a family-friendly culture to make Gijang County a city where it is easy to raise children and everyone is respected."
