Changwon City Male Choir Holds 19th Regular Concert, Delivers Deep Resonance and Emotion

The Changwon City Male Choir of Gyeongnam (Director: Baek Kyungsoo, Rashivan CEO) successfully held its 19th regular concert, "Song of the Wind," at the Grand Theater of Seongsan Art Hall.

The performance, held on September 4, featured over 60 members who delivered deep resonance and emotion under the guidance of conductor Lee Sangyeob and accompanist Jin Hyemin.


The concert was divided into three themes. In Part 1, "Men's Sentimental Choir," the choir expressed Korean lyricism through "Clouds," "Old Autumn," and "Namchon." Part 2, "Men's Scented Choir," showcased power and grandeur with "We are the Man," "Manly Man," and "Rise, People" from the musical "The Last Empress." In Part 3, "Men's Seasonal Choir," they continued their connection with the audience by performing their signature songs "Song of the Wind," "Bongsooki," and "A Glass of Makgeolli."


For the encore stage, the choir passionately sang "Superman," and concluded the concert with "Thank You," expressing gratitude to the families of the members. More than 1,300 audience members responded with a standing ovation, celebrating the choir's musical achievements.


Since its foundation in 2006, the Changwon City Male Choir has grown into a leading male choir representing the region. Next year, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, they are also preparing to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2026.


Director Baek Kyungsoo said, "Thanks to the support of our citizens, we were able to successfully complete the concert," adding, "We will continue to deliver deep resonance and emotion that can open the hearts of citizens."
