A worker in his 50s died after falling from the roof of a livestock shed while working in Naju, South Jeolla Province. Police are investigating whether safety regulations were followed.
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jeolla Provincial Police Agency announced on September 5 that on August 28, a worker identified as Mr. A fell from the roof of a livestock shed in Gongsan-myeon, Naju. Mr. A was installing a rain cover when he fell and suffered serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital but ultimately died on September 4.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and plan to determine whether the employer fulfilled their duty of care to prevent such incidents.
