Jang Si-ho, the niece of Choi Seo-won (formerly known as Choi Soon-sil), a key figure in the state affairs manipulation scandal, reportedly fell from a building but was rescued after getting caught on a railing.
According to Yonhap News on September 4, "Jang fell from the 12th floor of a residential building in Gangnam District at around 4 a.m. that day and was found by police and fire authorities on a lower-floor railing about two hours later." It is reported that Jang was transported to the hospital without major injuries.
Jang is both a suspect and a key witness in the state affairs manipulation case, having testified at hearings and trials regarding various corrupt acts and allegations involving Choi.
