On September 4, Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) held a tea time to promote cooperation and communication between the city and its four affiliated organizations, establishing a close collaborative system among the institutions.

This tea time was organized to strengthen the consultative framework between the city and its affiliated organizations and to share major work, following the recent opening of the City Policy Research Institute and the launch of the Cultural Foundation. The event was attended by the heads of Namyangju Urban Corporation, Namyangju City Policy Research Institute, Namyangju Welfare Foundation, and Namyangju Cultural Foundation, as well as relevant city officials.


During the tea time, each organization reported on its key ongoing issues, and participants exchanged a variety of opinions regarding major projects planned for the fourth quarter and matters requiring collaboration among the organizations.


Starting with this tea time, the city plans to hold regular meetings to share the policy achievements and directions of its affiliated organizations, aiming to enhance the overall expertise and efficiency of city administration and to achieve results that citizens can truly feel.


Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "This meeting is significant as it marks the first occasion where the city and its affiliated organizations have come together to understand each other's roles and communicate," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to create policy outcomes that citizens can experience firsthand through organic cooperation between affiliated organizations and relevant city departments in the course of our work."
