On September 4, the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters conducted an on-site inspection to strengthen stadium safety management ahead of the 2025 Hyundai World Para Archery Championships.

The Fire Safety Headquarters met with tournament officials and others on the same day to discuss fire prevention measures and ways to establish a rapid response system in case of emergencies. They also urged that the safety of athletes and spectators be given the highest priority.

In addition, during the tournament, ambulances will be stationed at the stadium and practice venues to ensure swift first aid and emergency transport in the event of an incident. To facilitate smooth 119 emergency reporting for foreign athletes and spectators, a three-way interpretation system for foreigners will be operated.

Kim Heecheol, head of the 119 Response Division at the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters, stated, "We will implement thorough safety measures so that this World Archery Championships can be a safe event where both athletes and citizens can participate with peace of mind and enjoyment."
