Winning Six Awards and Earning "Agency of the Year" Honors
Independent advertising agency Overman once again drew industry attention by sweeping six awards-two gold, two silver, and two bronze-at the 2025 Effie Awards. Notably, Overman solidified its unique strength in strategic creativity by also winning the highest honor in the industry, the Agency of the Year award. The Effie Awards are a globally renowned advertising competition that evaluates not only creativity but also actual business performance.
Overman achieved remarkable success with the Prosh "22nd Century Relics Exhibition" campaign, winning one gold, two silver, and one bronze award across four categories, including "Brand Content, Entertainment & Experience Marketing - Experience Marketing: Hybrid." The exhibition, which drew attention for its black comedy approach to discouraging the reckless use of disposable products that accelerate global warming, widely communicated the brand's eco-friendly identity through a brand experience idea that could not be freely promoted in broadcast advertising. The campaign was covered by numerous media outlets, including terrestrial news, and set a record for the highest number of visitors to a photo exhibition. Thanks to the campaign's multiple awards, Prosh was selected as the number one "Brand of the Year."
The Millie's Library campaign to expand paper book readership won a gold award in the "Entertainment & Sports" category and a bronze award in the "Business Performance - Reverse Marketing" category. By promoting new boundary-free services such as a pairing service that allows users to continue reading across paper books, e-books, and audiobooks regardless of format, and a reading log that enables note-taking just like in a paper book, the campaign significantly increased the previously stagnant number of subscribers.
