Starting at 10 a.m., the seminar will feature a keynote presentation by Kwak Jin, Director of the Ajou University Institute for Innovation and Convergence, who will propose measures to strengthen next-generation mobile security and prevent spam.
This will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Kwak Jungho, Professor at the Department of Big Data and AI at Hoseo University. Panelists include Shin Wonyong, Professor at the Department of Computational Science and Engineering at Yonsei University; Dave Kleidermacher, Global Vice President of Android Security at Google; Koo Taeun, Vice Chairman of the Korea Startup Forum; Shin Daesik, Director of the Telecommunications Usage Policy Division at the Ministry of Science and ICT; and Choi Chungho, Director of the Digital User Policy Division at the Korea Communications Commission.
Assemblyman Choi Hyungdoo stated, "Recently, mobile security threats such as voice phishing and smishing are increasing in both form and method, resulting in a growing number of victims. Through this seminar, we will discuss effective countermeasures and do our utmost to create a mobile security environment that the public can truly feel."
