The donation will be used to lay the groundwork for helping women who have experienced career interruptions re-enter the labor market. The two organizations also agreed to bring to the forefront discussions on tax credits for women with career interruptions, whose eligibility for tax benefits has been limited.
The donation ceremony, held at the Javis and Villains headquarters, was attended by key figures including Javis and Villains CEO Ju-Seok Baek and Han Myunghee, Vice President of the Center Federation.
CEO Baek stated, "This donation was made to raise awareness of the increasing social costs and challenges faced by women with career interruptions," adding, "We will work to address the particularly complex tax credit issues for these women so that they can benefit, even if only a little."
