On September 4, Shinsaegae Department Store announced that it will launch the "House of Shinsaegae" gift set for the first time in celebration of Chuseok, offering a collection that embodies Shinsaegae's unique values.
Established in June last year at the Gangnam branch, House of Shinsaegae is a curated space that reflects Shinsaegae’s identity, taste, and discernment. The House of Shinsaegae gift sets are divided into three main categories. First, the House of Shinsaegae Gift Shop offers gift sets designed to promote Korean lifestyle and aesthetics, featuring materials, techniques, and everyday wisdom rooted in Korean culture.
Representative sets include the "Geochang Yugi Bamboo Box" at 379,000 won, the "Straw Liquor Bottle and Straw Cup" at 140,000 won and 60,000 won respectively, the "Dan Red Copper Bucket" at 189,000 won, and the "Lee Eoryeong Teacup Set (4 pieces)" at 112,000 won.
The House of Shinsaegae Dessert Salon gift sets are also available. This modern Korean dessert cafe reinterprets Korea’s nature, seasons, and culinary heritage, offering gift sets featuring traditional rice cakes and Korean confections.
Key items include the "Yugi Box Korean Confectionery Set" at 480,000 won, the "White Porcelain Box Flower Songpyeon and Mandu Confection Set" at 380,000 won, as well as the "Three-Color Songpyeon Set" and the "Assorted Korean Confectionery Set," each priced at 120,000 won.
Gift sets created in collaboration with popular restaurants at the House of Shinsaegae Food Hall, a space dedicated to gourmet experiences, are also being offered. Notable sets include the "Yoon Haeundae Galbi" Rib Set (300,000 won), the "Kim Susa" Soy Sauce Marinated Crab Set (150,000 won), and the "Jajuhan Sang" Korean Beef Bulgogi Set (150,000 won).
The House of Shinsaegae gift sets can be reserved at pre-order desks located at all Shinsaegae Department Store branches. A representative from Shinsaegae Department Store stated, "We hope you experience the joy of sharing and enjoy a bountiful Chuseok holiday with the House of Shinsaegae gift sets."
