Celebrate Artistic Vision and Healing
at the Sinsa-dong Flagship Showroom
Talitha Koum announced that on September 1, it successfully held an artist reception event with artist June Lee at its flagship showroom TK& in Sinsa-dong, Seoul.
Every year during the Frieze Seoul exhibition period, Talitha Koum continues a project in collaboration with Frieze Connect, selecting noteworthy emerging artists to introduce works that embody artistic vision and social messages. At this event, June Lee's signature "Bystander" series was exhibited, along with a dialogue interview between Talitha Koum CEO Chae Moonseon and the artist, a docent-led tour, and an artwork viewing program.
At the reception, June Lee shared, "Through this collaboration, I learned about CEO Chae Moonseon's personal experiences with skin conditions, the process by which the Talitha Koum brand was created, and the brand's message of recovery. The sincerity and earnestness of the brand deeply resonated with my own life as an artist."
CEO Chae Moonseon also stated, "The way June Lee has pioneered her own path with patience and perseverance is similar to my own journey of maintaining authenticity in the brand. I believe that as long as Talitha Koum continues to uphold its sincerity, it can be recognized for its value even in the saturated cosmetics industry."
Meanwhile, June Lee's solo exhibition and works inspired by Talitha Koum products can be viewed free of charge at the Sinsa-dong flagship showroom TK& until September 14.
