The collective efforts of each and every public official practicing integrity are what will enable us to earn the trust of our citizens, and this is the path we must pursue."

Mayor Shin also stated, "I hope that today serves as an opportunity for you to renew your sense of duty as upright public officials and to take the lead as key figures in building an integrity-driven Seongnam. I would like to thank everyone involved in preparing this event, and I wish all participants a meaningful day."

The event began with a pre-ceremony performance by the Seongnam Citizen Art Troupe and proceeded with a survival quiz utilizing regulations related to integrity and anti-corruption.

Seongnam City is currently working to spread a culture of integrity through initiatives such as operating the Integrity Sharing Room on the city website and the Integrity Radio within city hall. The city expects that this event will further promote a culture of integrity within the public sector.
