"Together for a Long Time" is a small business support campaign launched in 2023 by Kakao Pay and the Together Foundation. To date, 264 brands have participated, attracting a cumulative total of 250,000 visitors and achieving approximately 18,000 cumulative sales.

This year's popup stores are being operated under the concept of "Our Own Little Brand Playground." The popup at Torotoro Seongsu Branch is the last offline popup store for this year.

From September 3 to September 30, a total of 60 brands will be featured at the Torotoro Seongsu Branch, showcasing over 180 products across categories such as living, fashion accessories, food, and eco-friendly goods.

While the first and second popup stores each operated for two weeks, this time the period has been extended to one month.

Various on-site events and promotions have also been prepared. These include a brand postcard zone where visitors can take postcards for free, a stopwatch game that awards gift certificates usable at the popup store, a photo booth, and a DIY keyring challenge.

There are also purchase events: customers who spend more than 10,000 won using Kakao Pay can participate in a lucky draw, and those who spend more than 50,000 won receive a Lucky Catch ticket for a chance to win a "Together for a Long Time" exclusive gift certificate.

Even after the popup store ends, products from participating brands will continue to be available at the "Together for a Long Time" online mall.

In addition to supporting both online and offline sales channels for participating brands, Kakao Pay and the Together Foundation are helping small businesses enhance their competitiveness through programs such as online marketing and business capacity-building education.

A foundation representative said, "The first and second offline popup stores provided a positive experience not only for consumers but also for small brands that mainly sell online. The third popup store, by being held in Seongsu-dong instead of a large shopping mall, will serve as another testbed."

A Kakao Pay representative stated, "By extending the third popup store's operation to one month, we aim to serve as a bridge connecting more consumers and small businesses. We will continue our efforts to help small businesses promote their brands and build loyal customers through 'Together for a Long Time,' while enabling consumers to experience a wide variety of innovative and meaningful brand products as part of our win-win initiative."

Meanwhile, Kakao Pay has been carrying out win-win activities to realize mutual growth with small businesses, in line with Kakao Group's coexistence slogan, "Closer with Kakao."

In 2023, Kakao Pay supported nationwide small business disaster insurance and emergency management funds for self-support enterprises. During last year's Chuseok and this year's Lunar New Year, payment processing fees were waived for small merchants. In July, Kakao Pay established a QR order ecosystem in partnership with value-added network (VAN) and point-of-sale (POS) companies, and promoted a campaign to support the digital infrastructure of local businesses.
