Yoon Jungsoo's Wife Revealed as 12 Years Younger
Former Sports Reporter Won Jahyun
It was recently revealed that the wife of broadcaster Yoon Jungsoo, who announced his "late marriage," is former sports reporter Won Jahyun.
According to multiple media reports on September 2, Yoon Jungsoo's wife, who is 12 years younger and with whom he completed his marriage registration last month, has been identified as sports reporter Won Jahyun.
Won Jahyun has worked in various fields, including as a KBS reporter, Weathernews Global Weather Jockey, and traffic caster. In 2010, she was active as a sports reporter for MBC. She especially drew attention during the Guangzhou Asian Games, where she was called the "Goddess of Guangzhou." She also hosted several programs, including MBC's "Sports Highlight," XTM's "Men's Empathy Rank Show M16," Sonbadak TV's "Won Jahyun's Morning Show," and The M's "Won Jahyun's Bundesliga Show."
She later transitioned to being a fitness model and won second place in both the Model Women Short category and the Ms. Bikini category at the 2015 Musclemania Fitness World Championship preliminaries. Since 2017, she has been working as a Pilates instructor.
Previously, in a broadcast in July, Yoon Jungsoo revealed that he was dating someone with marriage in mind. Last month, he announced through his YouTube channel that he had completed the marriage registration and had become a legal couple.
In the preview for TV Chosun's "Lovers of Joseon," which aired on September 1, Yoon Jungsoo was shown hinting at his wife's identity to his close friends Bae Gisung and Lim Hyungjun. Upon hearing about his wife, they commented, "She's someone everyone knows," drawing attention to her identity. A representative from "Lovers of Joseon" stated, "Yoon Jungsoo's wife will be revealed in next week's broadcast, so please tune in to the show for confirmation."
