The competition is co-organized by the Seongdong Cultural Foundation, the Early Investment Accelerator Association, and Dazed Korea, and hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service. TheVentures will also participate as a sponsor, alongside Krafton, PUBG Seongsu, Samsung Medicos, and the Seongdong-gu Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held at the PUBG Seongsu Bootcamp in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, starting at 3:30 PM on Friday, the 19th. Eight K-Beauty brands, selected through a document screening process, will participate in brand pitching, product demonstrations, and networking programs.

Notably, TheVentures will be the only venture capital (VC) firm to support the scaling up of K-Beauty startups and brands. At this competition, TheVentures will directly identify promising K-Beauty brands and offer them the opportunity for priority investment review of up to 100 million won. In addition, TheVentures plans to provide one-on-one strategic consulting to design investment strategies, as well as support for HR strategies such as team building and recruitment.

The three final selected brands will receive a variety of benefits, including product planning and production support from Samsung Medicos worth a total of 60 million won, professional consulting vouchers from the Small Enterprise and Market Service (worth a total of 6 million won), and social content production by Dazed Korea.

Applications for participating companies are currently being accepted, with the deadline set for the 11th. After a document screening process, the final eight companies will advance to the IR pitching stage.
