[Weather] Gradually Cloudy Nationwide from Afternoon... Daytime Highs Up to 33 Degrees

Fine Dust Levels Remain Good Nationwide

On Wednesday, September 3, the weather across the country will be mostly clear, but clouds will gradually increase from the afternoon.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, some areas in the Chungcheong region, southern regions, and Jeju Island may experience showers from the morning through the night. The expected rainfall varies by region, ranging from 5 to 60 millimeters.


The highest daytime temperatures are forecast to be between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius. As of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major cities were as follows: Seoul 23.0 degrees, Incheon 24.2 degrees, Suwon 21.7 degrees, Chuncheon 21.3 degrees, Gangneung 22.7 degrees, Cheongju 21.3 degrees, Daejeon 20.7 degrees, Jeonju 21.7 degrees, Gwangju 22.1 degrees, Jeju 25.8 degrees, Daegu 23.4 degrees, Busan 24.3 degrees, Ulsan 22.2 degrees, and Changwon 23.9 degrees.


Fine dust concentrations will remain at a 'good' level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.


Waves in the sea will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and around 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In the offshore areas (within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
