The 'You and Me and Yellow Night Market,' organized by Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province and the Shinsan Market Village Prosperity Association (President Kim Jungeun), will be held on September 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. around 74 Gaenari-gil, Nam-myeon.
This event was launched after being selected for a contest by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and aims to promote community unity and revitalize the local commercial district.
The festival will take the form of a night market. There will be food and experience booths, busking performances, and a payback event using Onnuri gift certificates and giveaways.
President Kim Jungeun said, "I would like to thank the Shinsan Market merchants and residents who prepared this festival," adding, "I hope many people will visit and create joyful memories."
An official from Yangju City stated, "This event is meaningful not only as an enjoyable festival, but also as an opportunity to boost local business consumption and facilitate natural exchanges between residents and tourists. We will continue to collaborate with local merchants to develop various programs that benefit the local economy."
