On September 2, Gwangju Donggu District announced that it has developed an AI audit prevention chatbot (GPTs) called "Administrative Welfare Center Work Mentor (Audit+)" to enhance the accuracy and reliability of its operations. The chatbot will be piloted throughout September with all employees of the Administrative Welfare Center.
The Administrative Welfare Center Work Mentor is designed to be easily accessible via the web, having studied administrative laws, guidelines, and manuals to provide immediate answers to staff inquiries. It also compiles frequently asked regulations and interpretation issues from the field in one place, enabling prompt responses.
During the pilot period, the chatbot will be distributed to all employees, with guidance on access and permissions as well as demonstrations of its core functions. Feedback from the field will be collected and used to improve the system.
Based on the results of the pilot, the district plans to continuously enhance the chatbot's features and content, steadily strengthening its effectiveness. Full-scale implementation is scheduled to begin next month.
Lim Taek, head of Donggu District, stated, "With AI-based preventive measures, we will proactively prevent repeated issues and support accurate and prompt work processing for residents. We will further solidify trust in field-centered administration through digital capabilities."
