From 2022 to 2024, the city supported a total project budget of 2.3 billion won for seven sites, and this year, it is investing an additional 1.2 billion won in four sites.

Eligible applicants are young people in Namwon City who have completed (or are scheduled to complete) the Jeonbuk Youth Startup Incubation Center program, as well as outstanding young farmers in the city and county. Each selected site will receive 308 million won in support. Those interested in the project must submit an application form and required documents by the 19th. After a document review and evaluation committee, the final selections will be made in November.

Mayor Choi Kyungshik stated, "In the face of extreme climate change, smart farms represent sustainable future agriculture by enabling the year-round production of uniform agricultural products," adding, "We will continue to provide unwavering support to foster smart agriculture in Namwon City through multifaceted smart farm policies."
