Dong-Eui Science University (President Kim Youngdo) announced on September 2 that on August 19, the president and staff of the Almaty Korean Study Abroad Agency, along with 22 students, visited the university.
The purpose of this visit was to expand global educational exchanges between the two institutions and to introduce Dong-Eui Science University's specialized departments and excellent educational environment.
The delegation received an introduction to the study abroad system and specialized departments, and toured the K-Care and K-Beauty programs within the K-Global Department. After experiencing the advanced practice labs and systematic practical training courses, the students expressed great interest, saying that it was very helpful in concretely understanding their majors and career paths. Some students also expressed their intention to apply in the future.
Kim Taekyung, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, stated, "This exchange was an important opportunity to showcase our university's global educational capabilities," and added, "We will expand programs that enable international students to develop both academically and professionally."
Dong-Eui Science University plans to further strengthen its efforts to recruit international students from Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries, taking this visit as an opportunity.
