Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on September 2 that it held the "September Regular Assembly" in the county government’s main conference room, with approximately 120 employees in attendance.
The assembly proceeded in the order of award presentations, an address and encouragement from the county governor, and a group singing of the county anthem.
A total of three awards were presented: one institutional award from the 2024 National Basic Local Government Manifesto Best Practices Competition, and two government model civil servant awards for the first half of 2025.
In his remarks, Jin Byeongyeong, Governor of Hamyang County, emphasized the importance of aligning project plans and budget allocations with government policy directions and trends. He stated, "As administrative work becomes more diverse and complex, there are now many tasks that must be handled jointly by multiple departments. I hope you will strive to resolve various complex tasks effectively through interdepartmental collaboration and communication."
Meanwhile, Hamyang County plans to focus all administrative resources and maintain close communication with the festival committee to ensure the successful hosting of the 20th Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival, which opens on September 18.
