Atinum, DSC, and Base Ventures Join Investment
260 Billion Won Raised in Just Three Years
"Accelerating Global Growth Through Aggressive Recruitment"

Gravity Labs, the operator of the global digital healthcare service "MoneyWalk," announced on September 2 that it has successfully raised 18 billion won (approximately 13 million USD) in a Series A funding round. Following a 5 billion won (approximately 3.6 million USD) Pre-A round investment in August last year, this additional Series A funding brings the company’s total investment raised to 26 billion won (approximately 19 million USD) in just three years since its founding.

This investment round was led by Atinum Investment, with new investors including DSC Investment, Goodwater Capital, and Ballon Capital joining. Existing investors Base Ventures, Schmidt, Seoul National University Holdings, HGI, and Tail Ventures all participated in follow-on investments. Notably, Base Ventures has now invested in Gravity Labs for three consecutive rounds, from the seed round to leading the Pre-A round, and again in this Series A, demonstrating strong confidence in the Gravity Labs team.

Gravity Labs operates MoneyWalk, a global healthcare app that helps users build healthy habits through rewards and gamification. MoneyWalk differentiates itself by offering users more than twice the rewards compared to other health reward apps. In addition to walking, the app provides services for sleep, diet, emotional well-being, body composition, and blood pressure management,

offering greater rewards as users build better health habits.

Within just two and a half years of launch, MoneyWalk surpassed 1.3 million global monthly active users (MAU). The app has demonstrated exceptionally rapid growth, with monthly revenue increasing more than twentyfold year-over-year, all while generating operating profit. Approximately 40% of its users are outside Korea, making MoneyWalk a truly global healthcare app used in 111 countries, including Korea, Japan, and the United States.

The company plans to use the funds secured in this round to further enhance its service and recruit top talent. As part of its talent acquisition efforts, Gravity Labs will officially launch an aggressive "core talent recruitment period" starting this month. Gravity Labs CEO Kim Woonyeon emphasized, "We are currently preparing for the evolution of our existing service," adding, "Gravity Labs is bringing in the best talent to create a world-class global service, and we promise compensation and benefits that match this ambition."

Nam Minhyeong, Director at Atinum Investment, who led this round, explained, "Gravity Labs is a team distinguished by its obsession with product and strong execution. Through relentless experimentation, they have established a virtuous cycle of service enhancement and revenue growth. We decided to invest because we expect them to accelerate their global expansion and ultimately emerge as a leading global healthcare service."

Yang Hyeongjun, Director at Base Ventures, who has invested in Gravity Labs for three consecutive rounds, commented, "While MoneyWalk may appear to be a simple health reward app, CEO Kim Woonyeon has been tirelessly addressing the challenge of human longevity and extending healthy lifespans since our first investment in 2022. We have focused on the team’s strong ambition to build the world’s largest healthcare business and their obsessive drive to continuously improve both product and business model."
