Dunamu, a company specializing in blockchain and fintech, announced the full lineup of speakers and programs for the upcoming "Upbit D Conference 2025" (hereafter UDC 2025), which will be held on September 9.
UDC 2025, under the theme "Blockchain, to the Mainstream," will focus on the integration of blockchain into the institutional sector and its expansion across finance and industry as a whole. A diverse and vibrant discussion is expected, with participation from global political figures and key leaders from the blockchain industry.
In particular, UDC 2025 will feature, for the first time, Dunamu’s blueprint for the future financial ecosystem. Oh Kyungseok, who was appointed as the new CEO of Dunamu in July, will deliver the opening speech, presenting the company’s new vision and global strategy.
Following the opening speech, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and the second son of U.S. President Donald Trump, will join Sunjoo Yoon, Chief Brand Impact Officer (CBIO) of Dunamu, for a special talk on "Finance, Business, and Digital Assets: Trends and Future Outlook." This will mark Eric Trump’s first appearance as a speaker at a blockchain conference in Korea. Eric Trump and CBIO Yoon will discuss the recent changes taking place in the digital asset industry.
Next, Patrick McHenry, former Chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee who led the passage of the "FIT 21" bill addressing the classification and regulatory authority of digital assets, will join CBIO Yoon for a keynote session titled "The Roadmap for Digital Assets that Have Entered the Mainstream." They will examine the trends and changes in the global digital asset and blockchain ecosystem and explore effective strategies to respond to these developments.
In addition, UDC 2025 will feature major virtual asset and blockchain companies and policymakers, including global stablecoin issuers such as Tether and Ripple, as well as Bilal Bin Saqib, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain. In the afternoon session, Marco Dal Lago, Vice President of Global Expansion and Strategic Partnerships at Tether, the world’s leading stablecoin issuer, will deliver a presentation on the future of stablecoins in facilitating global payments.
Oh Kyungseok, CEO of Dunamu, stated, "UDC 2025 is establishing itself as a global platform for discussing the future of blockchain technology and the digital asset industry. Especially this year, with global leaders including Eric Trump participating, it will be an opportunity to shed new light on the global influence of blockchain and digital assets."
Celebrating its eighth year, Korea’s leading blockchain conference, UDC 2025, will be held at the InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The full program and final speaker lineup for UDC 2025 can be found on the official UDC website. The opening stage and keynote sessions will also be broadcast live on the website and the official UDC YouTube channel.
