This contest, hosted by the Korean Nurses Association's Public Health Nurses Society, brought together public health nurses from local governments nationwide. It served as a platform to share outstanding public health projects and cases implemented in local communities, and to strengthen the professionalism and capabilities of public health nurses.

Guro District was highly praised for presenting the "Memory Keeper G-Bro Project," aimed at addressing gaps in dementia care. The main initiatives included: ▲ operating the "Memory Companion Mobile Car," the first in Seoul to provide integrated support for screening, treatment, and follow-up management in one service; ▲ conducting the "G-Bro Project," a dementia missing person simulation training involving residents, police, and market officials; and ▲ establishing the "G-Bro Guardians," the nation’s first nighttime missing person response team. These efforts presented a new model for integrated dementia management.

The "Memory Companion Mobile Car" is a mobile service that visits seniors with mobility difficulties to provide screening, counseling, and hospital referrals. In addition, joint simulation drills based on real missing person scenarios are conducted to strengthen public-private cooperation systems, and the "G-Bro Guardians" have been organized to provide emergency nighttime response, actively protecting the safety of elderly individuals with dementia.

Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, "This award is the result of cooperation among residents, institutions, and the local community," adding, "We will continue to focus all administrative resources on creating a community that is safe from dementia."
