Gyeonggi Province will supply 425 units of "Jeonse Rental-Type Ddeundeun Housing (Non-Apartment Jeonse Rental)" this year to support housing stability for newlyweds and engaged couples.
The Jeonse Rental-Type Ddeundeun Housing is a housing policy in which Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) directly leases homes selected by newlyweds and engaged couples, regardless of their income or assets, and provides them at low interest rates. Residents can live stably for up to eight years.
The program is available to newlyweds within seven years of marriage and engaged couples who are planning to get married, both of whom often face significant financial burdens at the beginning of married life. Any member of a household without a home who resides in Gyeonggi Province as of the application date may apply, regardless of income or assets.
If eligible applicants directly apply for non-apartment housing such as multi-family homes, villas, or urban lifestyle housing, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation will lease the property and then sublease it to the applicant.
In this case, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation will cover up to 80% of the jeonse deposit, with a maximum limit of 200 million won. The supported portion will be provided at a low annual interest rate ranging from 1.2% to 2.2%, and the maximum residency period is eight years.

Kim Tae-su, Director of Housing Policy at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This is the first time we are supplying 'Jeonse Rental-Type Ddeundeun Housing,' a new support model specialized for housing stability among newlyweds. Going forward, Gyeonggi Province will continue to expand new types of supply so that the younger generation preparing for marriage and childbirth can establish families without worrying about housing."
