On August 30, President Choi posted a photo with Eric Trump on his social networking service (SNS) and shared that they had dinner together. Eric Trump was reportedly a speaker at the "Bitcoin Asia 2025" conference held in Hong Kong on August 29.
In 2023, President Choi was the only business executive in Korea to have an exclusive meeting with Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, during his visit to Korea. In May of this year, he also held talks with former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
