Outstanding Skincare Products from Small Businesses Gather at the September Donghaeng Festival
From Gentle Children's Lotions to Expert-Developed Shampoos,
A Wide Range of Innovative Solutions for Dry and Sensitive Skin

At this year's Donghaeng Festival in September, attention is focused on outstanding products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners that help manage dry skin. As the season transitions from summer to autumn, a variety of skincare products are participating in the event. These range from products designed to care for the delicate and easily penetrated skin of young children, to shampoos developed by beauty material experts with 20 years of experience.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Small & Medium Business Distribution Center announced on September 2 that they are holding the nationwide consumption promotion event, the "September Donghaeng Festival," throughout the month to boost domestic consumption. Starting on September 1 and running until September 30, the festival features participation from 29,000 online and offline small businesses. Through online shopping malls such as Gmarket and Musinsa, around 26,000 products are being offered at discounts of up to 30 percent. Additionally, products from 400 domestic small businesses will be sold at discounted prices on global shopping platforms such as Amazon and Taobao. To help promote small business products, live broadcasts are being held on nine platforms, including Oasis and Grip. Various offline sales events are also being prepared in conjunction with traditional markets and local festivals.
