Hong Seokgi, who was recognized in the field of district administration innovation, played a significant role in boosting small business sales and revitalizing the local commercial area by implementing the 'Alley Economy 119 Project' using Onnuri gift certificates. In particular, through close collaboration with the merchants' association, the Residents' Autonomy Department, and 18 neighborhood offices, he designated 119 locations throughout Seo-gu as alley-type shopping districts in the largest number and shortest period nationwide. This achievement led Seo-gu to proactively accomplish about 20% of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' nationwide target (550 locations) for 2025, earning recognition as a national best practice.

Choi Eunji, who was recognized in the public service category, promptly addressed growing environmental complaints such as construction noise and fugitive dust, and contributed to smooth resolution of civil issues through active communication with residents. She also contributed to creating a safe and eco-friendly urban environment by supporting safety facilities to prevent and contain electric vehicle fires and by expanding zero-emission electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Park Youngjun, co-recipient in the public service category, actively worked to protect taxpayers' rights by listening to opinions and providing guidance on tax appeal procedures. He also developed tax audit techniques using the next-generation local tax information system, uncovering previously missed tax sources and increasing local tax revenue. Additionally, he contributed to building a trustworthy tax administration, winning an excellence award in research activities at the Korea Local Tax Institute.

Seo-gu District Mayor Kim Ikang stated, "The passion and achievements of our staff, who have quietly dedicated themselves to serving residents, are the foundation of Seo-gu's development," adding, "We will continue to realize warm administration and innovative district governance based on an organizational culture that respects those who work hard."
