"AI DJ" Beta Launched in Genie 6.0
Interactive AI Music Service Integrates Proprietary Multi-Agent Technology and Azure OpenAI
Personalized Playlists, Image-Based Recommendations, and Enhanced User Experience
KT Genie Music announced on September 1 that it has equipped the Genie 6.0 version with the beta version of its interactive artificial intelligence (AI) music service, "AI DJ," making it the first among domestic music platforms to do so.
AI DJ is a service that allows users to receive and immediately listen to playlists recommended by the AI through conversations, tailored to their situation, emotions, and mood. It was developed by integrating KT Genie Music's proprietary multi-agent technology with Microsoft Azure OpenAI-based large language models (LLMs).
KT Genie Music's multi-agent system has advanced curation by integrating all music information provided on the Genie platform. The "music analysis and recommendation technology" utilized in this process is currently patent pending. Users can express their preferences for playlists recommended by AI DJ. Additionally, they can obtain a variety of music-related information through conversations with AI DJ.
The service also supports image-based interactions. When users upload their own images, the AI recommends music that matches the mood of the image. Currently, AI DJ can be used up to 20 times per user per day. In addition, Genie 6.0 allows users to enjoy the "Genie Hot Pick" shorts video service in a larger format than before. The concert recommendation service expands the user experience by suggesting personalized concerts based on their music listening history.
To celebrate the launch of Genie 6.0, KT Genie Music is holding the "AI DJ Chat Challenge" event until September 7. Users can participate by receiving a personalized playlist recommendation from the "AI DJ" tab within the Genie application (app) and then clicking the "Participate in Event" button. Prizes will be awarded by drawing, including AirPods Pro (1 winner), Apple Watch SE (1 winner), 10,000 KRW Naver Pay vouchers (30 winners), and Starbucks Americanos (50 winners).
