Three-Month Program Runs Until November
Pre-Social Venture School Offers Early-Stage Support for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
The Korea Venture Business Association announced on September 1 that it is recruiting participants for the 'Pre-Social Venture School' pre-incubation program, targeting prospective entrepreneurs preparing to start businesses in the social venture sector.
This program is designed to discover and nurture promising prospective social venture entrepreneurs at an early stage, helping them to concretize their startup ideas and develop their business model-building capabilities. The final three individuals (or teams) selected through the demo day will be given priority selection and exemption from the document evaluation process when applying for the 2026 Preliminary Startup Package in the social venture specialized sector.
The educational program will run for approximately three months, from this month until November. The main curriculum includes: ▲Understanding social ventures and the Lean Startup methodology ▲Customer validation and business model development ▲One-on-one mentoring with experts and experienced entrepreneurs ▲Demo day (IR presentation), among others.
About 20 teams will be recruited. Any prospective entrepreneur who has not registered a business or established a corporation as of the announcement date (August 25) is eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted on the Korea Venture Business Association website until September 7.
An association representative stated, "We hope that through this program, prospective entrepreneurs will gain an understanding of the meaning of social ventures and establish a foundation to concretize business ideas aimed at solving social problems."
