This marks the first achievement of the "Global Webtoon Intellectual Property (IP) Production Support" initiative. Following "Marone Hujak," several other titles have begun serialization, such as "Dangmunjeon" (Munpia), "The Old Prisoner Lives in Solitude" (Studio Onepick), and "Company Contract Romance" (Studio JHS). Additionally, seven more works, including "1 Million Won per Second" (Manhwa Family), "Tale of the Skeleton Messenger" (Jaedam Media), and "The Iron Emperor" (To You Dream), are scheduled for release.

The Korea Creative Content Agency plans to unveil twenty new titles within this year and up to forty works on major platforms by the first half of next year. Among these is "Gaemi," a webtoon adaptation by Kenaz based on the original novel by renowned French author Bernard Werber. Werber is scheduled to attend a production press conference at Hotel Crescendo in Seoul on September 3, where he will share his views on Korean webtoons.
