Partnership with Four Credit Cards Including KB Kookmin, Hana, and Woori
Starting September 1, Samsung Electronics is launching a new "AI Subscription Club." The company has expanded the service by introducing priority service during the subscription contract period and by adding new subscription partner credit card companies in addition to the existing Samsung Card.
On September 1, Samsung Electronics announced that it is launching the new "AI Subscription Club," which offers reduced prices, enhanced care services, a wider range of payment options, and the industry's largest number of partnership benefits-22 in total-starting this month.
The "AI Subscription Club," which Samsung Electronics introduced last year, is a service that allows consumers to purchase Samsung home appliances through long-term installment plans and receive regular expert care.
Samsung Electronics is introducing "Blue Pass," a package of five services designed to enhance customer convenience throughout all stages from installation to after-sales service. The exclusive care Blue Pass service for subscription customers is applied to the "AI All-in-One 2.0" plan. Samsung Electronics has combined popular paid and free subscription services from the previous AI Subscription Club with new customer-requested services to create the Blue Pass offering.
At the Samsung Store Seocho, a manager is explaining the various partnership benefits of the 'AI Subscription Club' to visiting customers. Samsung Electronics.
The "A/S Fast Track" service allows unlimited priority after-sales service requests and support during the subscription period. However, usage may be restricted during the summer months from June to September.
The "One More Service" enables customers to have an additional Samsung Electronics home appliance checked at no extra cost during a scheduled care visit. Eligible products include Samsung refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, system air conditioners, TVs, dryers, and kimchi refrigerators.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics offers the "AI Pre-Care Notification" service, which detects abnormal signs in products in use and notifies customers, even proceeding with a repair visit request if needed. The "SmartThings Setup" service helps customers use their products more efficiently by having the installer connect the product to SmartThings during installation.
The company also plans to operate the "Time-Specific Installation" service, which allows customers to schedule installations at their preferred date and time, starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
Samsung Electronics has significantly expanded payment options for the subscription program, beginning with the newly introduced "AI All-in-One 2.0" plan, further enhancing customer convenience. When subscribing to the All-in-One plan, which combines products and care services, customers can now use their existing credit or debit cards for payment.
In particular, a total of four types of subscription partner cards have been newly introduced: Samsung Electronics AI Subscription Samsung Card, Samsung AI Subscription KB Kookmin Card, Samsung AI Subscription Hana Card, and Samsung AI Subscription Woori Card (to be introduced after mid-September). Depending on the previous month's spending, customers can receive up to 30,000 won per month in benefits.
The subscription period can now be selected more flexibly according to consumer needs. For home appliances, customers can now choose from four options-3, 4, 5, or 6 years-instead of the previous 5-year term. For IT products such as tablets and PCs, the available terms have expanded from the previous 3 or 4 years to 2, 3, or 4 years.
Customers can also make a lump-sum payment for part of the total subscription fee through the "Advance Payment" option, or use Samsung Electronics membership points to pay the monthly subscription fee.
Samsung Electronics provides subscription customers with partnership benefits across five sectors-transportation & telecommunications, travel & airport, leisure, education, and food & restaurants-offered by 22 companies. Customers can take advantage of benefits from a variety of partners, including Mad for Garlic, CGV, The Lounge, Hyundai Oilbank, and SK Speedmate. These partnership benefits are provided in various forms, such as price discounts, points, and coupons for partner companies' products and services, so that subscription customers can enjoy real, tangible advantages.
Additionally, every Friday, Samsung Electronics holds a "Subscription Friday" prize draw event on Samsung.com for subscription customers, offering discount coupons for partner brands and Galaxy products through a lottery.
Lim Sungtaek, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "Our new subscription service prioritizes enhanced customer convenience and a wider range of choices. We will continue to introduce a variety of new benefits and services to maximize customer satisfaction throughout the entire subscription process, from purchase and installation to use, maintenance, and repair."
