On August 31, the Suyeong Police Station in Busan announced that a report had been filed on August 27, alleging that delivery driver A stole a beverage left in front of a customer's door at an apartment complex in Suyeong District.

Driver A is suspected of placing a beverage ordered by a customer in front of the door at an apartment in Busan at around 12:13 a.m. on August 24, taking a delivery confirmation photo, and then picking up the beverage again and leaving with it.

The victim, B, also shared details of the incident on a social networking service (SNS). B reported that driver A ordered coffee and other items from a cafe in Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje District, at 11:53 p.m. on August 23, and received a delivery notification at around 12:13 a.m. on August 24 stating that the order had been delivered to the door, but never actually received the beverage.

After checking the CCTV installed at the front door, B discovered footage showing the delivery driver placing the beverage in front of the door, taking a confirmation photo, and then immediately leaving with the bag containing the beverage.

B stated, "Baemin explained that the driver thought it was a misdelivery, took the order back, and disposed of it after the order was canceled during transit. But the delivery was marked complete at 12:13 a.m., and the order was canceled at 1:24 a.m. Are they saying the driver spent over an hour looking for the wrong address? I found it outrageous and immediately reported it as theft."

The police have identified driver A and plan to investigate the specific circumstances of the incident.
