Neighborhood Resident and Local Leader Meetings Begin September 2
Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Heeyoung) will hold on-site communication sessions in 16 neighborhoods from September 2 to October 22 under the theme "Running Together as Leaders! Building Yongsan Together!"
This round of on-site communication will begin with a tea meeting with resident representatives from each neighborhood and continue with a meeting for local leaders. It will serve as an open forum to share updates on district administration and key policies, as well as to listen to residents' opinions.
The event will be attended by 10 resident representatives and approximately 40 local leaders from each neighborhood. The tour will start in Huam-dong on September 2 and continue through Ichon 2-dong, Namyeong-dong, Cheongpa-dong, Wonhyo 1-dong and 2-dong, Hyochang-dong, Hangangno-dong, Yongmun-dong, Ichon 1-dong, Yongsan 2-ga-dong, Itaewon 1-dong and 2-dong, Seobinggo-dong, Hannam-dong, and Bogwang-dong.
Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, stated, "Local leaders are the ones who communicate most closely with residents and look after both major and minor matters in the community. Through open and candid conversations, we will reflect valuable opinions in district administration, reduce inconveniences in residents' daily lives, and create tangible changes."
