Hwasun County is now accepting applications for new beneficiaries of the "2025 Newlywed Couples and Families with Multiple Children Housing Support Program." The program will select 11 households.

This initiative provides partial support for home purchase loan interest to newlywed couples and families with multiple children who are registered residents and living in Hwasun County without owning a home. Both Jeollanam-do Province and Hwasun County jointly provide this support. Each household can receive up to 250,000 won per month for a maximum of 36 months, totaling up to 9 million won.

Eligible applicants must purchase a home within Hwasun County valued at 600 million won or less between October 2024 and September 2025, and must pass a loan review by Korea Housing Finance Corporation or a similar institution.

For newlywed couples, eligibility requires that the marriage registration date is within the past seven years, both spouses are under the age of 49, and engaged couples are also eligible. For families with multiple children, there must be at least two minor children, with at least one child aged 12 or younger.

Income criteria are set at an annual household income of 85 million won or less for newlywed couples, and 100 million won or less for families with multiple children.

Applications will be accepted from September 1 to October 17. Applicants must visit their local township or town Administrative Welfare Center in person to apply. Online or mail applications are not accepted.

Jo Mihwa, Director of Population and Youth Policy, stated, "We will continue to provide effective support that residents can truly feel, based on the understanding that housing stability is at the core of population policy," and added, "We will do our utmost to make Hwasun County a stable home for young generations and families with multiple children."
