Oldest Successful Candidate is a 77-Year-Old Woman
In the second qualification exam of 2025, the average pass rate in the Gyeongnam region was recorded at 84.35%.
The Gyeongnam Office of Education announced on August 29, through its official website, the list of successful candidates for the second elementary, middle, and high school graduation equivalency exams held on August 12 this year.
A total of 1,393 candidates took the exam in the province, and 1,175 passed.
By category, 39 candidates took the elementary school exam with 35 passing, 205 took the middle school exam with 164 passing, and 1,149 took the high school exam with 976 passing.
The respective pass rates were 89.74% for elementary, 80.00% for middle school, and 84.94% for high school.
The oldest successful candidates were: Kim (female, 77 years old) for elementary, Kim (male, 76 years old) for middle school, and Choi (male, 76 years old) for high school.
Nine inmates from correctional facilities in the Gyeongnam region and six persons with disabilities were also included in the list of successful candidates.
Individual scores can be checked on the Gyeongnam Office of Education website from August 29 to September 4, and certificates of passing will be sent individually by mail.
Additionally, certificates of passing and other related documents can be issued from August 29, the announcement date, at administrative offices of elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, at civil service desks of education offices and education support offices, and through the 'Government24' app or website.
