Reshaping Cruise Travel... PanStar Miracle Lures 20s and 30s with Onboard Pool Parties and Magic Shows

The horizon of cruise travel is expanding, reaching from the silver generation to Millennials & Gen Z. PanStar Group, which operates the nation's first luxury cruise ferry, the Miracle, is reshaping the cruise travel landscape by continuously launching new products targeting people in their 20s and 30s.

On August 23, the nation's first cruise pool party event, "Ocean Club," was held at the Miracle's infinity pool. This event, open exclusively to adults aged 20 to 39, was sold as a package that included a cabin, pool party admission, unlimited alcohol, towel rental, and two meals (dinner and breakfast). The VIP package, valued at 2 million won, sold out quickly, demonstrating its immense popularity.

At the venue, beauty and health brand experience zones and pop-up stores were operated. The event also featured a live performance by the Real Players team, a set by DJ Judy, a fireworks show against the backdrop of the Busan nightscape, and an after-party, all of which created a youthful atmosphere distinct from traditional cruises.

On August 28 and 29, PanStar Group also hosted a magic show on the Seto Inland Sea cruise between Busan and Osaka, featuring world-class magicians Han Manho and Park Junwoo. Han Manho, renowned for his fashion magic, won first place in the Stage Invention category and third place in the General category at the 2018 FISM World Championships of Magic. Park Junwoo was awarded first place in the Manipulation category at the 2022 World Magic Championship, named Korea Magician of the Year by the Korean Magic Society in 2022, and finished second in The Magic Star Season 1.

PanStar Group plans to continue offering differentiated cultural and entertainment experiences to cruise passengers in the future.

A PanStar Group representative said, "Cruises have long been perceived as being centered around the silver generation, but since the launch of the Miracle, interest and boarding among Millennials & Gen Z have been steadily increasing. We are planning products that reflect the needs of younger generations, such as pool parties and magic shows, and will continue to introduce a variety of content."
