SH Expands Mirinae House Housing Types... 164 Units to Be Supplied

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH) announced on August 29 that they will expand the supply of the 'Mirinae House (Newlywed & Newborn Purchase-Lease Housing II)' housing type.

On this day, SH announced the recruitment of tenants for 164 units across eight locations under the Mirinae House program, with applications being accepted over three days from September 17 to September 19.

The supply locations include a total of eight sites and 164 units: 16 units in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu; 11 units in Dangsan-dong 6-ga, Yeongdeungpo-gu; 23 units in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin-gu; 15 units in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu; 10 units in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu; 53 units in Sangbong-dong, Jungnang-gu; 30 units in Ui-dong, Gangbuk-gu; and 6 units in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu.

This Mirinae House type was created to expand options for newlyweds who have difficulty securing deposits for newly built apartment rentals. It is supplied at approximately 50% of the market price for regular apartments. It is offered in conjunction with purchase-lease housing such as residential officetels and urban lifestyle housing.

If a resident gives birth while living in Mirinae House, they can apply for priority relocation to Long-Term Jeonse Housing II (Mirinae House) after 10 years of residence, ensuring step-by-step housing continuity. In particular, after residing in Long-Term Jeonse Housing II for 10 years, tenants are granted a priority purchase right. If they have two children, they can purchase at 90% of the market price, and at 80% of the market price if they have three children.

SH plans to continue expanding Mirinae House in locations with good transportation accessibility and to apply premium features such as built-in appliances, thereby providing a differentiated living environment compared to existing public rental housing.
