Launch of Four New Products Including Serum, Plumping Lotion, Emulsion, and Cream
Amorepacific announced on August 29 that its premium skincare brand, AP Beauty, has launched four new products in the M.D. line, including a serum.
The M.D. line is Amorepacific's flagship anti-aging collection, launched in celebration of the company's 80th anniversary this year. It incorporates the highest quality ingredients and innovative technologies from Amorepacific's skincare research. The line combines specialized skincare ingredients and technologies that were previously difficult to achieve with cosmetics.
The newly introduced products include a serum, plumping lotion, emulsion, and cream, totaling four items. The flagship product, "Rejuvenating Booster Shot M.D. Serum," is a new-concept triple shot serum that delivers three types of professional treatments, previously only available at dermatology clinics, in a cosmetic product.
It precisely blends three specialized ingredients-hyaluronic acid, PDRN, and collagen-to provide an immediate dewy lifting effect. The "M.E.D H.A™" ingredient, developed with the same structure as the hyaluronic acid used in specialized treatments, offers 11.2 times stronger skin penetration than conventional hyaluronic acid, reaching deep into the skin. The high-purity "228K PDRN" ingredient delivers 2.1 times more powerful repair effects than salmon PDRN, and the "Hyper EGCG™" ingredient provides anti-aging benefits that are 3.1 times greater than retinol in terms of skin elasticity enhancement.
In particular, the M.D. Serum demonstrated superior results in moisture and barrier improvement just three days after a single specialized treatment, compared to clinical benchmarks, and showed effects equivalent to specialized treatments after four weeks. Additionally, when used after dermatological procedures, it delivered 3.3 times better improvement in fine lines, 1.6 times more radiance, and 1.4 times better lifting effects, offering outstanding anti-aging results.
The "Firming & Radiance Plumping Lotion and Emulsion," also launched alongside, incorporate advanced plumping care technology. The "Rejuvenating Treatment M.D. Cream" provides immediate repair and a dewy, firming effect after specialized treatments.
The four new products will be available for purchase starting in September through the AP Beauty Naver Brand Store, as well as online malls and department store locations.
