HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's construction division announced on August 28 that it will conduct open recruitment for new employees in 2025, marking the first time in two years.
The recruitment fields include architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, safety, IT, real estate, finance, legal affairs, public relations, labor affairs, and general administration. Depending on the field, candidates will be selected to work either on-site or at the Namyeong headquarters in Seoul.
Applicants must have graduated from a four-year university within the past three years or be scheduled to graduate by February 2026. Candidates must have a relevant major or hold a related certificate. Applicants must be eligible for overseas travel and are required to submit an official English proficiency test score (TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking, or OPIc) obtained after January 1, 2024.
The recruitment process consists of document screening, aptitude tests, and interviews, with final successful candidates notified individually. The document application deadline is September 5, and applications can be submitted online through the company's recruitment website.
Since constructing the Seoul Haewoon Center Building, the first steel-structured building in Korea, in 1968, HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's construction division has built major projects such as Incheon International Airport, Yeongjong Bridge, the Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway, GTX-A, and the Busan Cinema Center. Through its 'Haemoro' brand, the company is actively engaged in the housing business nationwide. Previously well known as Hanjin Heavy Industries, the company changed its name to HJ Shipbuilding & Construction in 2022.
