This tournament has been organized to allow youth and other citizens to learn sportsmanship and teamwork through an e-sports competition, which is an official event at the Asian Games, and to widely promote a healthy sports culture.

The competition will feature a total of three events: two events for youth participants, 'Brawl Stars (Brawl Ball)' and 'Tekken 8', and one event, 'Brawl Stars (Duo Showdown)', which is open to both youth and adults.

For this inaugural tournament, more than 300 youth from across the country will participate, competing in a tournament format including preliminary rounds, semifinals, and finals to determine the winners. The champion and runner-up teams in each event will receive awards.

In particular, the finals will be broadcast by a professional caster to heighten the excitement at the venue. The event will also feature a game character tattoo experience, an event roulette, and a photo zone, creating a festival atmosphere that all citizens can enjoy.

The Jeonju Youth Center, which is organizing the event, has been building its expertise by running after-school e-sports programs, holding small-scale league matches within the center, and providing digital etiquette education. The center plans to continue discovering and nurturing the next generation of e-sports talent through ongoing programs for youth.

Kim Eunju, Director of Population and Youth Policy, said, "I hope that at the Jeonju E-Sports Masters, youth will come together and communicate through mobile games, creating a platform that contributes to new perceptions of e-sports and the spread of e-sports culture."
