This initiative aims to help residents manage their health through walking, which can be easily incorporated into daily life, and to spread a positive health culture throughout the local community.

The challenge will run for approximately two months, from September 8 to November 7. Participants must achieve a cumulative step count over two months using a mobile health app (such as Samsung Health or Apple Health). The targets are 600,000 steps for adolescents (ages 12 to 17), 280,000 steps for adults (65 years and under), and 200,000 steps for seniors (65 years and older).

Applications can be submitted from August 28 to September 4, either by visiting the health center in person or online via a QR code.

Applicants will receive pre- and post-challenge health consultations. If needed, they can also track changes in key health indicators such as weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and basal metabolic rate through InBody measurements.

Jang Yeo-jin, the head of the health center, stated, "This challenge will serve as an opportunity to protect one's health through walking, which anyone can easily practice in daily life, and to spread a positive health culture among residents. I hope many county residents will actively participate and enjoy a healthy and vibrant life."
