The Daegu Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eunhee) signed a "Business Agreement for Promoting Integrity Education for Future Generations and Expanding a Culture of Integrity in Educational Settings" with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (Chairman Yoo Cheolhwan) on the morning of August 28 in the reception room of the Office of Education.
Through this agreement, the Daegu Office of Education and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission plan to actively cooperate in expanding the culture of integrity by identifying institutional improvement tasks to promote integrity education for elementary, middle, and high school students, developing and utilizing customized integrity education content for students, strengthening the prevention and management of improper benefit claims to enhance the sound management of educational finances, and improving areas vulnerable to corruption.
The signing ceremony was attended by Superintendent Kang Eunhee, Chairman Yoo Cheolhwan, the Director General of Administration of the Daegu Office of Education, the Chief Auditor and Integrity Officer, the Director of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Director General for Anti-Corruption of the Commission, the Spokesperson, and the Director General for Integrity Policy, totaling nine participants.
Chairman Yoo Cheolhwan stated, "This agreement is a meaningful step toward building a future generation of integrity. We will continue to work with the Office of Education to lay a solid foundation for integrity education and strive to further spread a culture of integrity throughout our society."
Superintendent Kang Eunhee said, "Through cooperation with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, I hope we can create an educational environment where students naturally internalize the value of integrity, and I will do my best to foster an educational setting rooted in integrity."
