Eugene Investment & Securities Launches "Art Check-In" Cultural Arts Support Project with Seoul Museum of Art

Eugene Investment & Securities Launches "Art Check-In" Cultural Arts Support Project with Seoul Museum of Art

Eugene Investment & Securities, a financial affiliate of Eugene Group (Chairman Yoo Kyungseon), announced on August 28 that it will host "Eugene Art Check-In Season 3" in collaboration with the Seoul Museum of Art.

"Eugene Art Check-In" is a cultural and arts support project jointly organized by the two institutions each year to enrich visitors’ exhibition experiences and to broaden the base of art appreciation. The project features a variety of events that visitors can participate in, held in connection with major exhibitions at the Seoul Museum of Art.

This third season will be held in conjunction with the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, an international media art festival. Hosted biennially by the Seoul Museum of Art, this year’s Seoul Mediacity Biennale is themed "Ritual: Techniques for the Soul" and will run until November 23, taking place at the Seosomun Main Building, Nakwon Arcade, Youth Art Space, and other venues.

Eugene Investment & Securities has prepared three programs to help visitors enjoy the Biennale in a more special way: an AI experiential photo event, a premium docent tour, and a post-exhibition review event.

First, at the booth set up in the Seosomun Main Building, the "AI Experiential Photo Event" will be held. Visitors answer five questions related to the exhibition theme at a photo kiosk and have their photo taken; based on this, AI generates and prints an image of their soul. This program will be available from September 2 to October 19.

Additionally, Eugene Investment & Securities has arranged a "Premium Docent Tour" to allow visitors to enjoy the large-scale exhibition in greater depth. This program, which provides expert commentary on a variety of works by a total of 50 artists (or teams), will be held eight times over the weekends of the second and third weeks of September. Applications can be submitted through the Eugene Investment & Securities brand community, "Eugene Live," until September 7, with 20 participants selected by lottery for each session. Participants will receive an eco-friendly cooler bag and a pen in an eco-friendly package as souvenirs.

Furthermore, visitors who leave a review on Eugene Live after viewing the exhibition will be entered into a drawing to win a 10,000 won Naver Pay gift card, with 100 winners selected.

Since 2022, Eugene Investment & Securities has collaborated with the Seoul Museum of Art to promote the popularization and expansion of art as part of its ESG management practices. The company continues to host "Eugene Art Check-In" in connection with annual exhibitions at the Seoul Museum of Art, and at the end of each year, it also runs the "Emerging Artist Art Souvenir Production Support Project," which discovers outstanding new artists and produces art souvenirs reflecting their artistic vision.

Song Kyungjae, Head of Strategic Planning at Eugene Investment & Securities, stated, "We are continuing 'Eugene Art Check-In' with the Seoul Museum of Art to fulfill our corporate social responsibility and strengthen ESG management," adding, "We hope that visitors will enjoy a more special and enriching exhibition experience through the AI experiential event and docent tour programs of this third season."
