Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry Holds 2025 Global Field Study Program Launching Ceremony

Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry (President Choi Seongsin) announced on August 28 that it held a launching ceremony for the 2025 Global Field Study Program for Junior Colleges at the screening room on the 5th floor of Cheonggang Hall on August 26. The event was attended by President Choi Seongsin, Kim Sunghyun, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation, and Kim Jungseon, Director of the Field Training Support Center, who encouraged the departing students.


Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry selected a total of nine students for this program, which is organized by the Ministry of Education and implemented by the Korea Council for University College Education. These students will be dispatched overseas to gain diverse learning experiences and develop both a global mindset and practical skills in their respective fields.


This year, the selected students include six from the Animation School, one from the Game Content School, and two from the Fashion Beauty Style School, making a total of nine. They will be sent to the United Kingdom (five students), the United States (two students), and Australia (two students), where they will participate in 16 weeks of language classes and field training.

Since selecting the students in April, Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry has thoroughly prepared for their dispatch. The students completed more than 50 hours of pre-departure training, including language education, safety training, character education, mentoring, and orientation.


President Choi Seongsin stated, "I hope that the 16 weeks of education and training abroad will help you pursue your dreams of overseas employment and serve as a valuable opportunity to grow into global talents," adding, "The university will spare no effort in supporting our students so that they can develop into future core talents with global competencies."


Meanwhile, Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry has supported students' overseas advancement by participating in the Global Field Study Program for Junior Colleges since 2012. With K-content gaining worldwide popularity, the university is expected to excel in fields such as animation, comics, games, fashion, and performance, where it has demonstrated particular strength.
